The former Mumbai-based Bollywood model and poet has accused nine men in the Indian film industry of sexually abusing and molesting her.

According to Indian media, the former model has lodged a complaint at a Mumbai police station against eight prominent male personalities, including actor Jackie Bhagnani of the Indian film industry, for abusing and molesting her.

One of these 9 personalities is actor Jackie Bhagnani who has acted in several films including "Youngistan", "Falto" and "Ajab Ghazb Lo". Among those accused by the former model are Bollywood photographer Colson Julian, Krishna Kumar of the well-known music company T-Series, co-founder of the talent management company Anirban Das Bala, Nikhal Kamat, Shell Gupta, Ajit Thakur and Gurujit Singh. And Vishnu Vardhan Andori.

A senior inspector at the Bandra police station has confirmed that an FIR has been registered but has so far refused to provide any further details on the case. In addition, none of the people accused by the former model have been arrested yet.

According to the FIR, the victim has claimed that incidents of sexual harassment against her have been going on since 2015. The FIR alleges that actor Jackie Bhagnani harassed the woman in Bandra.

Nikhal Kamat harassed him at a hotel in Santa Cruz. Shell Gupta also allegedly sexually harassed her in 2015 in a building in Andheri. The FIR copy further states that photographer Coulson Julian sexually assaulted the victim several times from 2014 to 2018.

"We are investigating the case," a senior Mumbai police IPS officer said. We have registered a case against all the accused under sections 378 (n), 354 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and we will question the accused soon.

Remember that Indian law prohibits the identification of victims of sexual exploitation. Therefore, the identity of the former model who made the allegations was not revealed.
