Indian Cricket Board has also announced that 31 matches of the Indian Premier
League will be played in the UAE.
According to Indian media reports, due to Corona cases, the decision to make UAE the venue for the remaining matches was taken at a meeting of the Indian board.
The matches will be played from the second week of September to October 10, before the league was postponed due to positive corona cases.
On the other hand, the Indian Cricket Board has asked for more time to host the World Cup. The Indian board wants to wait until July before any decision on the transfer of the World Cup from India to the ICC meeting on June 1.
