Mumbai: Insects as a rule and caterpillars specifically are furnished with different weapons for their security. Some force themselves up like snakes, some have thistles on top of creepy crawlies and regularly vanish in agreement with the general climate. Indeed, it is a sort of butterfly worm that lays its eggs on the rear of mango leaves. It is from these eggs that this hidden worm arises. As the worm grows, a yellow line arises on its back which is shaded like a mango leaf. It has prickly edges on the sides and pushes ahead on account of them.
It eats mango leaves with incredible relish however here the birds can without much of a stretch make it their tidbit and thus nature has furnished it with a defensive framework to mask it.
