Karachi: Elderly Olympian athlete Captain (retd) Abdul Malik has passed away.

Senior Olympian Athlete Captain (Retd) Abdul Malik has passed away

The late Captain (Retd) Abdul Malik was 84 years old. He was the younger brother of the late Abdul Khaliq, a well-known Pakistani athlete. He had been undergoing treatment in a coma for the last five days due to a stroke.
 

He represented Pakistan in the 1960 Rome Olympics and competed in the 100 meters with his brother.
